BNZ Investment Management
BNZ Investment Management (BNZIM) has been awarded the 2002 FundSource Fund Manager of Year Award. It is the second consecutive year that BNZIM have won the award, in what many regard as being one of the most testing years in funds management.
BNZIM have demonstrated a consistent, disciplined and conservative approach to investment management. It is also BNZIM’s strong people, process and portfolio characteristics, combined with consistent above average fund performances that have attributed to their FundSource Fund Manager of the Year status. BNZIM have strong stability within their key investment staff, enabling the accumulation of high levels of team and industry experience.
The key area of BNZIM strong performance was international equities. The BNZ International Equity Trust managed by Templeton, a US-based value investor, posted top quartile performances for a year that was undoubtedly characterised by poor international equity market performance.
BNZIM manages client funds on behalf of the BNZ Trust Group.
